Coming From Nowhere
Can you see me? Over there, on the horizon, surely! Making my way forward in blistering force, I feel energy absolute taking its course, No longer do I hang onto those numbing doubts, Gone are the despairing vibes I used to be about!
Feel me exciting your pages with my senses, Run with me and delight in my graces, Omnipotent, I dance in the hot flames, Maddening, tempestuous in abundant gains!
Now I am beyond my clouded, shadowed visions Origins of light escape my pores and scatter my minions, Wise thoughts expanding to embrace all the good, Here is where I will feast on this banquet of mind food, Each morsel tantalising and spreading emotional waves, Reactions to all that is around me, feelings to save, Easing into dreamy landscapes, without fear, without pain.

I thoroughly agree with Yiota Craig, a nice energetic rhythm that matches the excitement of the concept! On first reading I found the first few lines menacing (before I read the remainder!), like some almost poltergeist force gathering momentum, but that reading was soon dispelled. I especially like the lines:
Each morsil tantalising and spreading emotional waves, Reactions to all that is around me, feelings to save, Easing into dreamy landscapes, without fear, without pain
That is so utterly positive, and filled with beauty and optimism Again, you manage to articulate at times quite abstract or difficult to describe emotional states, in a really effective and invigorating way, that enhances the sense of personal hope and beauty unfolding, and which the reader can really engage with!

Thank you both so much!
This was written and inspired by music! Namely The Frozen Autumn's track 'Coming from Nowhere', which is totally uplifting. I wanted to create a poem with some positive vibe and the fact that even if you have a bad day (week, month, year lol) you can come back from nowhere to embrace a spark of joy, or vibrancy!
I noted a spelling mistake which I have corrected - morsel, not morsil - oops!
I really appreciate your comments...I'm constantly striving to be better with my writing; it is really cool to know people out there like what I construct!

Great band mate, very impressed with the tracks you've sent me, and I shall be buying! Yes it is a very compelling concept, I can vouch for that too, even today, at the start of the day I was feeling pretty hopeless and negative and so on, that quickly lifted and now I feel more bouncy! Mental states and moods are such an interesting area I think, especially if one can recognise at times the triggers that lead to being in a dark mental miasma (just wanted to use that word 'miasma' )
I seriously do appreciate what you write Craig, and I love the growing maturity in your writing, in terms of its confidence, subtlety and breadth of vision. Classy and enriching. Your comment made me smile Yiota, can't help being 'the nutty professor' at times lol. I did notice that spelling mistake, but didn't mention, didn't want to be a smart arse lol Not as if I don't make spelling mistakes, in fact only yesterday a French girl who works at Warminster Rd (you'd know that obscure place reference Craig) picked me up not for the first time on a spelling mistake. Thing is, I normally am pretty good, but just seem to make these mistakes with her...must nbe a subconscious drive to be chastised by her

Thank you again for your lovely comments...been crazy lately and not had much time to come online...
...I highly recommend The Frozen Autumn, Johny...great band...certainly their earlier works are pretty sublime and I constantly play it! Twilight records is where to get them from, and a lovely chap who runs it too.

I know what you mean Craig, as long as our 'crazy' endeavors and pursuits are enjoyable ones
Many thanks for the recommendation for their earlier work - I shall do my usual detective work and get one or two of their earlier albums I like the sound of Twilight Records too (nicely evocative and gothic name)
